Overview

All headers brand all services indicating to the user they are on an official NHS LA site/platform.

Use of this pattern

• All NHS LA services and pages should use a standard NHS LA Header.

• Whenever you use the NHS LA header, you must:

  • Link the organisation logo back to the NHS LA homepage.
  • Set the content area to the maximum 1024px at full width and a minimum of 345px.
  • Set the blue bar to NHS Blue (#005EB8).
  • Set the purple bar to NHS Purple (#330072).

• Adapting the header:

• You can customise the header elements dependent on the type of header needed. This is determined by how long or complex it is and whether you want to include navigation.

How it works

• Menu titles are limited to no more than 5 titles or 4 when a login button is included.
  • Menu titles should be to the point and impactful in one word (no more than two max).
• Menu titles may have one tier dropdown sub menu.
